On July 12, 1998, a 10'2" bronze statue of Swami Vivekananda was
dedicated by the Vivekananda Vedanta Society. Located on the grounds of
the Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago, it is the largest public statue of
Swamiji in America, and is quickly becoming a popular stop for pilgrims
to Chicago.
