Prasenjit Chatterjee
Born at Calcutta in 1962. His father Biswajit was a popular hero of
Bengali and Hindi films. Studied at St Xaviers college for some time. Started acting at a very
early age. First acted as a child actor in the film 'Chhotto Jiggyasa'
which got released in 1968 and received the BFJA award for best child
actor.
Later acted in a supporting role in 'Dui Prithibi' in 1983. His first appearance as a lead hero was in the film 'Duti Pata'. Since then Chatterjee has acted in the lead role of many Bengali films. Prosenjit has displayed his acting prowess in both formula commercial movies as well as in parallel films. Filmography:
