Tapas Pal was born in the year of 1958 at Chandannagore. Bachelors of Science from Mohsin College of Hooghly. First acted in the lead role of Tarun Majumdar's film 'Dadar Kirti'. His performance in this film brought him all the name and fame. Since then Tapas has acted in many films in lead role. Received BFJA award for his critical role in the film 'Saheb'. Acted in commercial theatre and in Hindi films too.
