Known as Mounted Police, is actually cops who ride horses. Horse riding cops are a normal scene in the sports grounds in Maidan of Calcutta.The Indian Musuem, country's largest and oldest museum. Located at Chowranghee on J.L Nehru Road. Music World - modern music shop. Here you can listen to selected numbers of Compact Discs or audio tapes with a variety   of music ranging from Bengali Tagore Songs to Western rock. Located on Park Street near Little Russell street junction. A place for music lovers who can browse through the elections.
Nandan Theatre, next to Rabindra Sadan. A modern style theatre hall for film exhibitions. A place for serious movie goers who attends film seminars, film festivals etc Western style theme park located in the eastern part of the city at Salt Lake. Entry is expensive just like any other theme parks.  Foods and snacks are available inside and follows the thumb rule - more you pay to enter, more you you pay to drink soda inside.Burmese Pagoda style structure inside Eden Gardens. This is one place in the heart of the city where people can relax. Located next to Eden Gardens stadium near the Babughat ferry on the tiver Hooghly.
Raj Bhavan - The Governor's House. Used to be the house of British Governor General of India in British era, now, the official residence of the Governor of West Bengal. Raj Bhavan -  from other side. Once residence of the British Governor General of India, now official residence of the Governer of West Bengal. Located in Esplanade area.  Reserve Bank of India, Calcutta branch located at B.B.D. Bag.
