agreed, he was a writer,social reformer, artist, composer, song writer, etc.etc., but after understanding the actual meaning of 'jana gana mana' written to welcome king george-vth and then shamelessly accepting the nobel prize(nominated by king george-vth,head of the then noble prize committee) on pretext of 'gitanjali', he was proved that he was a bengali who sold his soul to the british. i don't really understand why we indians still remember him. why didn't he learn something of indian national sense from ramkrishna parmahansa, swami vivekananda, subashchandra bose.
